Mini Cinnamon Buns

As soon as I saw this recipe I knew I had to try it. It was so easy and delicious, I will definitely be making it again.

Ingredients
8 oz tube of crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons of butter (or margerine)
4 tablespoons brown sugar
cinnamon to taste (I didn't measure, but generously sprinkled)
1 1/2 teaspoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon milk (I used almond milk)
3/4 cup powdered sugar

Once you open the dough the crescent rolls should easily split in half. Take one of the halves and place the other aside. Form the dough into a ball and roll out until dough is about 1/4 inch thick.

Brush half of the butter on the dough and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and some cinnamon.

Roll the dough up and cut into 6 even pieces. Repeat the process with the second half of the dough.

Place the buns in mini muffin tin pan that has been buttered or sprayed with Pam. Pop into the oven at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until the tops of the buns are beginning to lightly brown.

While the buns are baking, whisk together the maple syrup and milk. Next, mix in the powdered sugar.

Once the buns come out of the oven, drizzle the frosting on the buns while they're still warm.

Enjoy!
